Hideaway Royalton Riviera Cancun
I recently returned from a 6-day trip to Mexico and I’m already starting to miss the warm and humid weather as well as the sunshine! I miss the tough decision of choosing which pool to swim in and which restaurant to dine at! What I will mainly miss, though, is the experience of zip lining in the jungle and being pampered at the spa.

You can easily reach: Bus stop, nice Restaurants,, Nighclubs like Coco bongo, La Vaquita, the Senor Frog, The City and others.
Train station and beach are nearby. Grocery stores and a Walmart. You can do some souvenir shopping at Plaza Kukulkan, Plaza las Americas, La Isla Walmart and Other malls. You can also reach Mercado 28 with a taxi or rental car (using an uber is not recommended while in Cancun)
I recently participated in ‘The Culinary Experience’, a 10-course meal prepared by elite Mexican chefs for our intimate group. The food was phenomenal, and I say this as a food enthusiast and nutritionist who appreciates great cuisine. I even got to learn how to make tacos cook raw fish on hot rocks, try torched meat, and crack open a chocolate piñata (which was my favorite part!). By the way, don’t miss the video of me cracking open the piñata. It’s definitely worth watching!
I had a relaxing day at the water spa located at the Royalton. They had 10 different types of massaging waters and a head and neck massage by the pool. This was followed by an aromatherapy massage. It was pure luxury and the perfect preparation for a full body massage. If you go down, definitely visit the spa. I highly recommend this resort.
Attention all fitness enthusiasts! This resort has a fantastic gym located on two floors, which is fully equipped with cable cross-overs, individual universal selector machines, a variety of cardio equipment, and smaller equipment like kettle bells, mats, and stability balls. Additionally, they have a dance studio where you can join classes and Zumba classes by the pool. They also provide access to rooftop tennis courts. If you love combining weight training with outdoor activities like running on the beach or paddle boarding, this resort is perfect for you!
During my trip, I had some amazing off-site adventures. I went zip lining through the Mayan jungle, both right side up and upside down, rode an ATV through the wilderness, and tried some paddle boarding in the sea. I have some videos below that capture the experiences. They truly were unforgettable!

I highly recommend visiting the hydrotherapy spa as it is the best one I have experienced. You can also book fun activities such as ATV riding and zip lining. It is perfect for adventurous people, foodies, or those looking for a relaxing girls trip. Check out my exciting videos of the activities!
I highly recommend staying at the Hideaway at Royalton Riviera Cancun, a five-star resort. It may be expensive, but it’s definitely worth it. You can go for the diamond experience if you want to enjoy adult-only pools, more dining options, and access to all-day snacks in the diamond lounge. But even if you don’t go for this package, it will still be a luxurious stay. Don’t forget to check out my videos where I give a tour of the resort and show the fun activities!
Please book a floor unit that has a private pool. During my last trip, I was envious of those who had private pools since I did not have one myself. The resort’s pools close at 6pm, but with a private pool, you can swim whenever you like.
I highly recommend booking the Culinary Experience in Cancyn, especially if you love food like I do! It is truly a memorable experience where you can torch meat and throw a chocolate piñata on a plate.

🏨 Hotels: I have found that Expedia and Booking.com consistently have the best deals on hotels and resorts in Mexico. If you prefer to stay at a vacation rental, check VRBO that is usually cheaper than AirBnB’s added fees!
✈️ Flights: To find the best flight deals to Mexico, I always use Kayak. Remember to subscribe to their price alerts for the travel dates you want. Another great alternative for flight deals is Expedia.
🚗 Rental Cars: I always use and highly recommend Discover Cars because it allows me to compare several car rental companies and view ratings on various factors such as overall value, pick-up procedure, agent efficiency, car condition, and total time taken.
🚙 Cancun Airport Transportation: For the fastest and easiest way to travel, I suggest arranging a private transfer with Cancun Airport Transportation. Honestly, no better way to travel from the airport to your hotel or resort.
🤿 Tours & Activities: For tours and activities in Mexico, I highly recommend using either Viator or GetYourGuide. These websites offer a full refund if you cancel your booking 24 hours before the start of the tour, and they also provide excellent customer service in case of any issues.
🚨 Travel Insurance: I always suggest purchasing travel insurance as a precaution before traveling, especially after a recent accident in a taxi in Mexico. For short trips, I recommend Travel Insurance Master, whereas for digital nomads, Safety Wing is a better option.
📷 Best Camera for your trip: I always carry with me a GoPro, It’s light, compact, takes great video and pictures, and most importantly, it’s waterproof! You just can’t go wrong with one. If you are interested in higher quality video and photography, I always carry with me on my trips and highly recommend the Sony A7IV which I think is the best travel DSLR Camera out there.
☀️ Biodegradable Sunscreen: Remember to include a good sunscreen to protect yourself from the summer sun. I always use and suggest Sun Bum Sunscreen, which is vegan, reef-friendly, and cruelty-free.
