The Location

The property is located along the Fira-Pyrgos road, approximately 1.5 miles away from both locations. The Petit Palace Suites Hotel is situated near the Fira-Pyrgos road on the west coast of Santorini, providing a view of the Aegean Sea. It is located approximately 1.5 miles south of the island’s capital Fira and 1.5 miles away from Pyrgos. While the hotel offers a shuttle service to Fira, it is limited. To reach the hotel from Santorini Airport, you only need to take a short taxi ride and to get there from the main port, located approximately four miles away, you may take a bus or taxi. A bus stop is situated just a couple of minutes walk away. Alternatively, you can rent a car in Santorini and explore the island. Check you preferred car at DiscoverCars.

The Rooms

The modern suites are spacious and come with private terraces offering breathtaking views of the sea. The Petit Palace Suites Hotel offers 23 roomy suites with modern decor and tiled floors. Guests can enjoy a private terrace or balcony with a view of the Aegean Sea. Some rooms also feature hot tubs or private pools. All suites include in-room technology like free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The bathrooms come equipped with hydro-massage tubs, luxury toiletries, robes, and slippers, providing complete relaxation. However, some of the less expensive rooms may have basic decor that doesn’t uphold the hotel’s high-end standards.

Features

Enjoy a large sunbathing terrace alongside a pool equipped with comfortable loungers. The hotel has a spacious swimming pool, considering the typical pool sizes in Santorini, and a large sunbathing area with loungers and parasols that offer stunning sea views. Guests can enjoy breakfast at the on-site restaurant or in their rooms, and the restaurant also serves Mediterranean-inspired dishes throughout the day. The hotel features a cozy lounge area and a small bar and hosts wine-tasting events where guests can taste local wines and spirits. Unlike most hotels of its kind, the hotel has an elevator that serves all five floors.

Bottom Line

The Petit Palace Suites Hotel has 23 rooms with beautiful views of the sea and caldera from traditional terraces. Guests can enjoy the stunning outlook from the swimming pool, restaurant, and lounge bar, all overlooking the Aegean. Rooms also have private sea-view terraces, with some including a pool or hot tub. While some suites may have simple decor, the in-room amenities are plentiful. However, the location may feel secluded for some.

Traveling to 🇬🇷 Greece soon?

I recommend these travel resources for Greece that I personally use:

🏨 Hotels: I have found that Expedia and Booking.com consistently have the best deals on hotels and resorts in Greece. If you prefer to stay at a vacation rental, check VRBO that is usually cheaper than AirBnB’s added fees!

✈️ Flights: To find the best flight deals to Greece, I always use Kayak. Remember to subscribe to their price alerts for the travel dates you want. Another great alternative for flight deals is Expedia.

🚗 Rental Cars: I always use and highly recommend Discover Cars because it allows me to compare several car rental companies and view ratings on various factors such as overall value, pick-up procedure, agent efficiency, car condition, and total time taken.

🚙 Airport Transportation: For the fastest and easiest way to travel, I suggest arranging a private transfer from the airport and beetween destinations with Welcome Pickups. Honestly, no better way to travel from the airport to your hotel or resort.

🤿 Tours & Activities: For tours and activities in Greece, I highly recommend using either Viator or GetYourGuide. These websites offer a full refund if you cancel your booking 24 hours before the start of the tour, and they also provide excellent customer service in case of any issues.

🚨 Travel Insurance: I always suggest purchasing travel insurance as a precaution before traveling, especially after a recent accident in a taxi in Greece. For short trips, I recommend Travel Insurance Master, whereas for digital nomads, Safety Wing is a better option.

📷 Best Camera for your trip: I always carry with me a GoPro, It’s light, compact, takes great video and pictures, and most importantly, it’s waterproof! You just can’t go wrong with one. If you are interested in higher quality video and photography, I always carry with me on my trips and highly recommend the Sony A7IV which I think is the best travel DSLR Camera out there.

☀️ Biodegradable Sunscreen: Remember to include a good sunscreen to protect yourself from the summer sun. I always use and suggest Sun Bum Sunscreen, which is vegan, reef-friendly, and cruelty-free.
