Manoulas Mykonos Beach Resort is situated in a tranquil area with a scenic view of Agios Ioannis Bay. The resort is surrounded by palm trees, stone walls, and gleaming white buildings, creating an idyllic atmosphere for visitors.
In 1989, the movie “Shirley Valentine” was shot here. Despite stylistic changes since then, the look remains cozy and unassuming. There are a pool and a sea-front location, making it an ideal location for those seeking peace and quiet.
This is a welcome change from the crowded tourist areas. The lobby is charming and features hardwood floors, comfortable sofas, elegant chandeliers, and expansive windows that provide a picturesque sea view.
The color scheme is predominantly white, cream, and bright blue, which is not particularly exciting but still pleasant. Most guests are couples, although some families and groups of friends also come and go.

There are some restaurants and grocery stores nearby, but it is a peaceful area. To explore other parts of the island, the bus stop is right outside the resort. The resort is conveniently close to multiple beaches, with Oros Beach only five minutes away by car, Paraga Beach a 15-minute drive away, and Paradise Beach accessible within 20 minutes by car.
The Armenistis Lighthouse can be reached in 20 minutes by car. Additionally, Mykonos Island National Airport is only a 10-minute drive from the resort, and Mykonos Ferry Port is located just a 15-minute drive away.
Our rooms are simple yet vibrant, come with complimentary Wi-Fi, and feature balconies. Some rooms also offer stunning views of the bay.
The Manoulas Mykonos has 76 rooms that are simple and quite roomy. The color scheme consists of white, cream, and beige with some gray or turquoise touches in the décor.
The rooms are generally in good shape, but some could benefit from minor improvements in bedding, furniture, curtains, floors, and walls. A few guests have reported that the beds are hard and the Wi-Fi signal is inconsistent. The rooms are equipped with desks, safes, mini-fridges, free Wi-Fi, and flat-screen TVs, but no coffee- or tea making facilities.
They come with private balconies or terraces, some of which offer bay views. The Suite features a sitting area and an outdoor jetted tub. The bathrooms are on the smaller side and have limited space around the sinks.
Not all of them come with bathtubs, and they have outdated designs. The resort offers both smoking and non-smoking rooms and designated smoking areas.
Enjoy complimentary breakfast at the buffet and on-site restaurant. Take a dip in the spacious swimming pool with stunning views of the bay, and grab a drink from the poolside bar.
Manoulas Mykonos Beach Resort offers a complimentary breakfast buffet with various options such as scrambled eggs, meats, feta cheese, pastries, Greek yogurt, and fresh and canned fruit. However, previous guests have expressed mixed reviews about the quality.
In addition, the resort has an indoor cocktail bar and a poolside bar that serves drinks and a small menu of light food items like pizza, sandwiches, and Greek salad. The beachfront restaurant specializes in seafood, Greek, and Mediterranean dishes.
The resort features a spacious saltwater swimming pool that provides a stunning view of Agios Ioannis Bay, equipped with several lounge chairs and ample shade around its perimeter.
Although the hotel is not located on the beach, guests can reach it within two minutes and incur a charge for using chairs and umbrellas. Additional amenities include a modest fitness center, complimentary parking, and a 24-hour front desk. Guests can arrange for airport transfers for a fee, while Wi-Fi is readily available throughout the property at no cost.

🤿 Tours & Activities: For tours and activities in Greece, I highly recommend using either Viator or GetYourGuide. These websites offer a full refund if you cancel your booking 24 hours before the start of the tour, and they also provide excellent customer service in case of any issues.
🚨 Travel Insurance: I always suggest purchasing travel insurance as a precaution before traveling, especially after a recent accident in a taxi in Greece. For short trips, I recommend Travel Insurance Master, whereas for digital nomads, Safety Wing is a better option.
📷 Best Camera for your trip: I always carry with me a GoPro, It’s light, compact, takes great video and pictures, and most importantly, it’s waterproof! You just can’t go wrong with one. If you are interested in higher quality video and photography, I always carry with me on my trips and highly recommend the Sony A7IV which I think is the best travel DSLR Camera out there.
☀️ Biodegradable Sunscreen: Remember to include a good sunscreen to protect yourself from the summer sun. I always use and suggest Sun Bum Sunscreen, which is vegan, reef-friendly, and cruelty-free.
