Hyatt Ziva Cancun
Located on Cancun‘s white-sand beaches, Hyatt Ziva Cancun, Mexico is an all-inclusive resort. When you stay here, you’ll get free meals at nine restaurants and drinks at seven bars, including a local microbrewery. There’s also a KidZ club, three infinity pools with Caribbean Sea views, snorkeling gear, beach and pool cabanas, beach volleyball courts, a tennis court, live entertainment, a spa, and a fitness center with Pilates classes.
Our hotel has 547 rooms and suites which start at a minimum of 483 square feet. All rooms are equipped with a terrace or balcony, a complimentary minibar, free Wi-Fi access, a flat-screen TV, a marble bathroom that includes a separate shower, a king-sized bed, and an additional queen-sized sofa bed.
According to recent guests, this Hyatt is a great option for families on vacation due to its many kid-friendly amenities. It’s also a good choice for couples who want a romantic experience with opportunities for salsa dancing, cocktails, and couples massages. The service throughout the resort is excellent, although a few guests mentioned that check-in can be slow. As a Hyatt property, loyalty program members can earn and use points during their stay.

The Hyatt Ziva Cancun’s guest rooms and suites are designed with neutral colors and colorful accents. The modern atmosphere is enhanced by stylish light wood furniture and cool tiled floors. The bathrooms feature luxurious touches like granite countertops and rainfall showerheads, and all rooms have private patios with ocean or garden views. The ground-floor suites have swim-up access to private pools, but all occupants must be at least 13 years old.
The guest rooms have a size of 483 square feet and are equipped with premium channels, a workspace/desk, a minifridge, bathrobes/slippers, a minibar, a shower/tub combo, and separate shower and tub areas. High-speed internet is available and you can choose between wireless internet access or free internet. There is a fee for internet usage. Some of our guest rooms have patios or balconies, and adjoining rooms are available upon request.
The Hyatt Ziva Cancun is a resort located in the heart of Cancun’s Hotel Zone on a peninsula between the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea. It boasts stunning panoramic ocean views and offers areas for families with children as well as quiet, adults-only spots for couples. The resort is set on a secluded beachfront surrounded by other high-end resorts, approximately 9 miles to the east of downtown Cancun.
The property is located 15 miles southwest of the Cancun International Airport. Additionally, the resort collaborates with the adjacent Hyatt Zilara Cancun resort to provide more amenities and services that are exclusively for adults. There is no charge for 24-hour valet and self-parking. However, there is a fee for the airport shuttle service. Car service is also available.

The Hyatt Ziva Cancun has 17 bars and restaurants on-site. These include a French fine dining restaurant, an open-air buffet, a coffee shop, a 24-hour snack bar, and a brewery. The Pasteles ice cream parlor is popular with kids, while adults can enjoy more than 25 types of tequila and an informative “tequillier” at Juana Margarita. Private beach dinners can be arranged.
The Bar del Mar on the beach is exclusively for Club-level guests. Adults-only can enjoy the Punta Vista bar and La Bastille restaurant, both located on the rooftop. Entertainment is available every night at different places. The resort has eight restaurants with various cuisine types, including buffet, Asian, Italian, American, Mexican (Mayan Inspired), Latin American, French, and Spanish.
They offer fine dining, casual dining, quick service at cafes, coffee shops, and marketplaces, as well as bars and lounges. Room service is available, including 24-hour room service, and free breakfast is provided.
The resort offers multiple pools, including a main pool, an adults-only pool, and a kids pool, along with two hot tubs and a beach by the Caribbean Sea. Guests who stay in swim-up suites have their own private pool access. Each pool area comes with complimentary chaise lounges, towels, and umbrellas. At the main pool, there’s a swim-up bar that serves frozen cocktails while fresh seafood specialties are available at the beachfront Habanero Cevicheria.
The pools are open every day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. A private cabana rental comes with a bottle of Champagne. Please note that lifeguards are only provided on the beach, not by the pools. There are several types of pools available, including a lap pool, wading pool, lazy river, family pool, infinity pool, and adults-only pool. Additionally, there is a whirlpool/hot tub, waterslide, and poolside service available. You can relax in deck chairs or rent a cabana. There is also a pool bar.
The Hyatt Ziva Cancun’s Zen Spa offers a variety of amenities and services that can keep guests busy for days. Guests are treated to hot and cold plunge pools, a hair and nail salon, and 13 indoor and outdoor treatment rooms. Services include massages, body wraps, facials, and aqua-therapy. Many treatments incorporate Ayurveda techniques and ancient indigenous ingredients and rituals, such as the Green Coffee Wrap, providing an authentic cultural experience.
We offer treatments for couples and specialized services for children and teens. Our services include massage, facials, body treatments such as scrubs and wraps, salon services, and access to our outdoor treatment area, steam room, and sauna. We are open every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Ziva brand’s KidZ Club provides several supervised activities for children. Parents can relax while their kids enjoy a schedule of water sports, video games, crafts, and pool games. There’s also a separate wading pool with a playground. Sunbathers can enjoy the peace and quiet of the pool area. Additionally, the hotel has an on-site candy and ice cream parlor called Pasteles. They serve delicious treats and have a chocolate fountain that operates until midnight.
Children between the ages of 4 and 12 can attend KidZ Club every day. Babysitting services are available for a fee. The spa provides specialized services for children and teenagers. There is a free option for the Kids Club, as well as a fee-based option. Cribs and high chairs are also available.
At the Hyatt Ziva Cancun, you can enjoy a large fitness center with a view of the pool area. You will find a variety of workout equipment, exercise balls, and fitness classes such as yoga and aerobics. You can also enjoy free amenities like TVs, towels, and water. Additionally, there is a locker room available with shower facilities. You can participate in daily outdoor activities such as tennis clinics, water volleyball, dance lessons, and scuba diving lessons.
The fitness center is open 24 hours. Personal trainers are available on-site from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. To use the fitness center, you must be 18 or older. The fitness center includes weight equipment, cardio equipment, and yoga mats. Free fitness classes are available, and premium fitness classes require a fee.

✈️ Flights: To find the best flight deals to Mexico, I always use Kayak. Remember to subscribe to their price alerts for the travel dates you want. Another great alternative for flight deals is Expedia.
🚗 Rental Cars: I always use and highly recommend Discover Cars because it allows me to compare several car rental companies and view ratings on various factors such as overall value, pick-up procedure, agent efficiency, car condition, and total time taken.
🚙 Cancun Airport Transportation: For the fastest and easiest way to travel, I suggest arranging a private transfer with Cancun Airport Transportation. Honestly, no better way to travel from the airport to your hotel or resort.
🤿 Tours & Activities: For tours and activities in Mexico, I highly recommend using either Viator or GetYourGuide. These websites offer a full refund if you cancel your booking 24 hours before the start of the tour, and they also provide excellent customer service in case of any issues.
🚨 Travel Insurance: I always suggest purchasing travel insurance as a precaution before traveling, especially after a recent accident in a taxi in Mexico. For short trips, I recommend Travel Insurance Master, whereas for digital nomads, Safety Wing is a better option.
📷 Best Camera for your trip: I always carry with me a GoPro, It’s light, compact, takes great video and pictures, and most importantly, it’s waterproof! You just can’t go wrong with one. If you are interested in higher quality video and photography, I always carry with me on my trips and highly recommend the Sony A7IV which I think is the best travel DSLR Camera out there.
☀️ Biodegradable Sunscreen: Remember to include a good sunscreen to protect yourself from the summer sun. I always use and suggest Sun Bum Sunscreen, which is vegan, reef-friendly, and cruelty-free.
