It comes with many special perks, including a dedicated lounge that offers personalized check-in/out, continental breakfast, afternoon hors d’oeuvres, sweets, and premium liquors, and mayan inspired cocktails exclusively for Preferred guests.
Preferred Club suites are located in premium locations and offer better in-room amenities. In my bathroom, for instance, there was a kit containing more than just the basic shampoo and conditioner (which were in larger containers), but also sunscreen, bug spray, a toothbrush, and toothpaste, among other useful items.
The upgrade includes special perks at Dreams Spa by Pevonia, including a free hydrotherapy circuit once per stay. What I enjoyed most about the upgrade was the exclusive rooftop pool for Preferred Club guests that is only for adults. While floating in the pool and admiring the turquoise sea, I experienced the tranquility that you hope for on a Cancun beach vacation.

Only guests who are part of the Preferred Club have access to the rooftop pool. Dreams Vista Cancun has a total of eight restaurants and seven bars. One of the bars is exclusively for Preferred Club guests, while another one is located by the beach.
During my short stay at the resort, I only had the chance to try a few of the dining options available. However, the meals I had were all excellently cooked and presented attractively. I particularly enjoyed the delicate crab tacos and tender chicken mole at Mi Lucrecia, which specializes in Mexican cuisine. Additionally, the rooftop location of the adults-only Bluewater Grill, which offers a fusion of Mediterranean flavors, is definitely worth experiencing.
There are many different places to eat at this location, including a pan-Asian restaurant, an Italian restaurant, an international buffet, a cafe that serves snacks for lunch, and a gourmet court with six options for international cuisine. Additionally, visitors can dine at Bluewater Grill, which offers Mediterranean-fusion dishes and has a lovely view of Cancun.
The property has an on-site pier that provides easy access to water-based excursions. I only had to walk a few steps across the beach and down the jetty to catch my snorkeling boat and head out to sea. Nearby attractions include the Cancun Underwater Museum of Art, where sunken sculptures create a habitat for marine life, and Playa Mujeres, a small island with breathtaking ocean views and iguanas roaming freely.
Overall, Dreams Vista Cancun effectively utilizes its space by offering a wide variety of choices, entertainment, and amenities for its guests. The best part is that the staff delivers top-notch service with genuine warmth and care throughout the entire property.

🚨 Travel Insurance: I always suggest purchasing travel insurance as a precaution before traveling, especially after a recent accident in a taxi in Mexico. For short trips, I recommend Travel Insurance Master, whereas for digital nomads, Safety Wing is a better option.
📷 Best Camera for your trip: I always carry with me a GoPro, It’s light, compact, takes great video and pictures, and most importantly, it’s waterproof! You just can’t go wrong with one. If you are interested in higher quality video and photography, I always carry with me on my trips and highly recommend the Sony A7IV which I think is the best travel DSLR Camera out there.
☀️ Biodegradable Sunscreen: Remember to include a good sunscreen to protect yourself from the summer sun. I always use and suggest Sun Bum Sunscreen, which is vegan, reef-friendly, and cruelty-free.
