Delek Tulum Review
Although Tulum, Mexico is now a well-known destination, people still flock to this beautiful Caribbean coast location because it offers a great service. This is largely due to the independent hoteliers who understand how to enhance the area’s natural beauty without overdoing it. Delek Tulum is a prime example of this.
The name given to the Delek hotel is derived from Tibetan culture and serves as a reminder of the hotel’s ecological, cultural, and ethical intentions. In Tulum, it can be difficult to find a balance between minimalism and luxury, but Delek manages to do so successfully with its handmade cabañas that provide both a connection to nature and modern amenities.
At the terrace restaurant located on the beachfront, you can enjoy a high-end version of the local cuisine. The chefs at the restaurant source all of their ingredients from local and sustainable purveyors, including the timbers used to make the cabañas.
The amenities available at this location include air conditioning, beachfront access, concierge service, and a designated smoking area. Cribs are available upon request but subject to availability. Additionally, there is a doctor on call and shuttle service offered.
There is free WiFi accessible in all regions. Unfortunately, there is no available parking. Pets are permitted but may come with additional fees. All children are welcome to stay, with those under the age of 2 staying for free if they use a provided cot and those up to 11 years old staying for free if they use an existing bed.
If your child is between 12 – 17 years and will be using an existing bed, the cost per person per night is US$30. Children up to 11 years old can stay for free if an extra bed is available. For people aged 12 and over using an extra bed, the cost is also US$30 per person per night. Please note that you need to request an extra bed or crib, and the hotel will confirm availability. Additional costs like these are not included in the total and must be paid for during your stay.
