The hotel has a luxurious and stylish feel in every area, from the unobtrusive entrance to the perfectly clean and white facades and interiors.
The reception area has a polished marble floor with modern minimalist furniture, giving it a high-end and exclusive feel. The hotel does not have many common areas, and instead provides very personalized service to guests in their rooms.
The majority of guests are wealthy individuals, such as celebrities, as well as the occasional couple on a luxury honeymoon.

Located on the beautiful hillside in northwest Santorini, with convenient access to Oia’s main thoroughfare. The Canaves Oia Hotel is situated at the top of the steep hillside in Oia, on the northwest tip of Santorini Island. It offers breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea.
The entrance is located just off the main road, which means that there are relatively few stairs, unlike other hotels in the area. There are two beaches nearby – the pretty Ammoudi beach is a 20-minute walk away, while the less attractive Baxedes beach is a mile away.
To get to the island, one needs to take a 45-minute flight from Athens and then drive 12 miles from Santorini Airport to the hotel.
The suites are beautifully finished and each one has its own private terrace with a view of the sea. The suites have modern and traditional furnishings, polished marble floors, and simple decoration.
They also have private terraces with seating, sun loungers, and amazing views of the Aegean Sea. The suites include high-end amenities, such as free Wi-Fi and large flat-screen TVs. The bathrooms are spacious and come with luxury toiletries and robes, but not all of them have tubs.
Experience private dining and yachting. The hotel has an L-shaped swimming pool that, though not huge, is one of the largest in the area. Part of the pool is under the hotel. There are sunbeds on the poolside terrace with a bar and restaurant overlooking an impressive panorama.
Private dining is available in the three-table Petra Gourmet restaurant, which has an excellent wine cellar and hosts regular wine tastings. Guests can enjoy in-room spa treatments, and those who desire a luxurious experience can opt for the private yachting service.
The Canaves Oia Hotel is a high-end and exclusive property on Santorini Island that can be quite expensive. It has a beautiful and luxurious design with stunning sea-view panoramas.
The suites are roomy and come with top-notch amenities, and the pool is larger compared to other options on the island. If you’re looking for something extra, you can try private yachting.

📷 Best Camera for your trip: I always carry with me a GoPro, It’s light, compact, takes great video and pictures, and most importantly, it’s waterproof! You just can’t go wrong with one. If you are interested in higher quality video and photography, I always carry with me on my trips and highly recommend the Sony A7IV which I think is the best travel DSLR Camera out there.
☀️ Biodegradable Sunscreen: Remember to include a good sunscreen to protect yourself from the summer sun. I always use and suggest Sun Bum Sunscreen, which is vegan, reef-friendly, and cruelty-free.
