When visiting Tulum, there are two primary locations you can stay in: the Pueblo and Tulum beach. The former is situated around 15 minutes away from beaches on a bicycle ride and contains local-style eateries and taquerias as well as low-cost hotels, while the latter comprises luxury boutiques, hotels and resorts along with trendy restaurants that offer an atmosphere associated with vacationers.
Tulum Expert Tip: From January to February, July or August, and late December, tourists book hotels at a rapid rate. Therefore it is essential to reserve your accommodations ahead of time during these peak periods.
