The Barceló Maya Palace has 3 different swimming pools: one for children that is designed to be shallow, another that is semi-Olympic in size, and a third for adults. Additionally, there is a water park within one of the swimming pools, called the Barcy Water Park, which has water structures such as castles, slides, and waterfalls that kids can enjoy.
The pool area has a sun area, hammock area, and a fully equipped game zone. Additionally, there is the Pirates Island Water Park (extra fees required) with slides and attractions suitable for all ages.

The Barceló Maya Grand Resort offers an enjoyable vacation experience for children and teens. The Barcy Kids Club provides supervised activities for kids between the ages of 4 and 12 in an exciting atmosphere. There are also family-friendly activities available, such as an 18-hole miniature golf course, a 4-lane bowling alley, and various video games at the Sports Bar Strikers which is open 24/7. However, please keep in mind that some activities come with an extra fee.
The hotel offers exciting nightclubs as part of its entertainment options. Guests can enjoy international music and drinks while having fun. One of the nightclubs is called Jaguar’s Nightclub, and guests can enter for free and receive complimentary house drinks until 2:00 am. The nightclub also has a VIP Lounge that can be reserved for an additional cost and offers imported drinks. Please note that only guests over 18 years old are allowed in the nightclub, and smoking is not permitted.

One Disco Club: Teenagers between the ages of 13 and 17 can enjoy themselves with popular music and drinks that do not contain alcohol in a safe and age-appropriate environment. To enter, a teen wristband is necessary.

Every evening, you can watch a different show with professional dancers and live music at each theater. Bring your family along and enjoy the entertainment starting at 9:30 pm.
Water sports for the whole family
At Barceló, they have the Dressel Driver’s Club within the hotel’s facilities to ensure exceptional experiences for the guests. They offer scuba diving lessons, tours, snorkeling, and water sports like jet skiing and deep-sea fishing at an extra charge. The hotel’s private dock serves as the departure point for the boats.

At the new Dolphinarium at Barceló, you can safely interact with dolphins while enjoying the beautiful tropical landscapes and beachfront location. The enclosure has been certified by the European Association for Aquatic Mammals and is exclusively for hotel guests. With an innovative shallow platform concept, you can safely experience interacting with the dolphins.
The new U-Spa Wellness & Fitness Center at Barceló Maya Grand Resort covers over 32,000 sq. ft. and is designed based on the four elements. The spa provides several amenities including saunas, steam baths, tropical and bi-thermal showers, a dynamic pool, immersion pools, and a relaxation area ideal for taking a break from your daily life.
The U-Kids Spa is a new addition to the wellness center and is designed specifically for children. It offers a variety of treatments with appealing scents to make the experience enjoyable for kids.
The fitness center is equipped with state-of-the-art machines and equipment for warm-ups, cardiovascular exercises, cooling down, stretching and strength training. A variety of equipment available, including treadmills, stationary bikes, weights, spinning, and yoga rooms. The fitness center is located within the U-Spa, and scheduled classes are offered (depending on U-Spa availability).

🚨 Travel Insurance: I always suggest purchasing travel insurance as a precaution before traveling, especially after a recent accident in a taxi in Mexico. For short trips, I recommend Travel Insurance Master, whereas for digital nomads, Safety Wing is a better option.
📷 Best Camera for your trip: I always carry with me a GoPro, It’s light, compact, takes great video and pictures, and most importantly, it’s waterproof! You just can’t go wrong with one. If you are interested in higher quality video and photography, I always carry with me on my trips and highly recommend the Sony A7IV which I think is the best travel DSLR Camera out there.
☀️ Biodegradable Sunscreen: Remember to include a good sunscreen to protect yourself from the summer sun. I always use and suggest Sun Bum Sunscreen, which is vegan, reef-friendly, and cruelty-free.
